As Teamlead Accounting (m/f/d) you will play a central role in the financial stability and success of our company. In this position, you will take responsibility for the financial processes and manage a small team of two people. You will have the opportunity to gain your first management experience and to develop personally and professionally. You will be directly involved in general ledger accounting, coordinate important closing activities and support international accounting. You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders and actively shape the further development of our financial processes.

About the job

  • Accounting responsibility: You are responsible for the general ledger and independently prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, IFRS and tax requirements.
  • Data analysis and action recommendations: You work closely with Controlling, analyze figures and make recommendations directly to management. 
  • Finance 2.0: You actively optimize our finance process and accompany exciting digitization projects in accounting
  • Participation in projects: You are the central point of contact for special projects such as integrations and M&A topics.
  • Team leadership: You support less experienced colleagues professionally and thus actively shape the development of the team.

About you

  • You have a degree in business administration, finance and accounting, tax or financial management.
  • You have initial experience in managing small teams or are interested in further developing your leadership skills.
  • You have sound experience (approx. 3-5 years) in the accounting department of medium-sized companies or in auditing.
  • Your way of working is precise and structured, complemented by a strong understanding of figures.
  • You are quick on the uptake and can quickly familiarize yourself with new topics in a changing environment.
  • Experience in group accounting and the conversion of financial processes is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  • You are confident in using common accounting software and have a high level of proficiency in MS Excel.
