No matter whether full-time or part-time (from 20 hours): As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) in our Finance team, you will play a central role in ensuring the financial stability and profitability of the company. You will be responsible for general ledger accounting, coordinate closing activities and take care of international transactions in accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and actively shape the further development of our financial processes. Therefore we are looking for you as:

Senior Accountant (m/F/d)

YOUR TASKS

  • Responsibility for general ledger accounting: You will be responsible for the general ledger accounting of our German company and ensure accurate mapping of intercompany transactions between our company and the subsidiary.
  • Coordination of the financial statements: You will actively coordinate and design the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, IFRS and tax requirements and ensure their timely and high-quality completion.
  • Preparation of accounting: You will play a key role in preparing and ensuring the correct accounting of business transactions and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
  • Monitoring international processes: You will monitor and support international transactions in accounts receivable and accounts payable, actively contributing to the optimization of financial processes.
  • Contact person for external stakeholders: You act as a competent contact person for auditors, tax consultants and banks, maintaining important relationships that are significant for the success of our company.
  • Participation in projects: You will have the opportunity to get involved in exciting projects to improve operational business processes and the introduction of a new accounting system, thus actively contributing to the further development of the company.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have completed commercial training or a degree in business administration, finance and accounting, tax, financial management or a similar field.
  • You have sound experience (approx. 5 years) in the accounting department of medium-sized companies or in auditing. 
  • You are confident in using common accounting software and have a high level of proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Your way of working is precise and structured, complemented by a strong understanding of figures.
  • You have a quick grasp of new topics and can quickly familiarize yourself with them.
  • Experience in group accounting as well as in the conversion and digitalization of financial processes is an advantage.
