Teamlead Financial Controlling (m/F/d)

In this role, you will not only take care of operational controlling and the company's financial tasks, but also lead a small team of controllers. You will form a strategic interface between finance, colleagues from the business departments, management and our parent company ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. As a team lead, you will not only take responsibility for the controlling area, but also have the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills.

About the job

Team leadership: You will lead a small team and ensure that the controlling team completes all relevant financial reporting and analysis tasks efficiently and on time.
Advising management: You will advise management on the preparation of budgets, forecasts and rolling forecasts and actively contribute to keeping the company on course for long-term success.
Discussion of your analyses with relevant interfaces in the business and management circles to enable concrete measures in the business from findings and thus achieve impact with your team with regard to the achievement of financial targets
Responsibility for reporting: You are responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly reports on profitability, cost centers and investments and help to make strategic decisions at all levels.
Further development of the controlling systems: You will drive the further development of the controlling systems, in particular integrated planning accounting and marketing controlling, and promote continuous process improvements.

About you

A degree in economics - sound theoretical foundations and practical expertise form the basis of your success.
Several years of professional experience in a similar position or in a renowned consulting or auditing firm - you have in-depth specialist knowledge and a broad range of experience.
First experience in leading teams or interest in taking on leadership responsibilities - you want to expand your leadership experience and actively develop the team.
Excellent Excel skills - you master complex data analysis, pivot tables and the creation of customized financial models like no other.
Strong numeracy and analytical thinking skills - you understand how to extract relevant insights from large data sets and present complex issues clearly and concisely.
Experience in using accounting software, ideally Diamant or comparable systems - you have the necessary IT affinity to work efficiently and accurately.
Very good German and English language skills - you can communicate confidently in both German and English and understand how to present financial issues clearly and convincingly.
